CROWD: Community Redistricting Organizations Working for Democracy

February 10 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

CROWD academy designed to train community leaders on educating and engaging citizens with the upcoming redistricting process.

We believe that organized communities have the power to demand fair maps in the redistricting processes that will be happening over the next year.

In partnership with the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, we are identifying and training grassroots leaders in Texas on the redistricting process so that they can go back into their communities and deliver educational presentations. Our goal is to identify and cultivate trusted leadership and give them the tools to lead the engagement around redistricting in their community.  The academy participants will attend a three-day hands-on training for three hours each day to provide them with all the tools they need to engage with community groups on the ground.

We would like you to join our Houston Academy, and feel free to invite other community members who might benefit from this training.

February 10 to 12th, 3-6 PM CT, Houston/Gulf Coast Area
